Trace Heating Installation, Huddersfield
Jade Insulation was contracted to complete the trace heating and insulation to all pipework on the newly constructed Huddersfield Energy and Recycling Facility.
The initial enquiry came in the form of 3D modelling, which was used alongside site surveys to quantify and verify site information by our skilled estimating team to provide a comprehensive tender covering all aspects of the project.

The scope of the project is to provide trace heating and insulation to the following:
- Imported sludge delivery for cake and liquid sludge pipework
- Imported sludge screening
- Combined import and SAS thickening.
- Liquid polyelectrolyte makeup and dosing pipework
- 3 No. dual drum thickeners feed pipework, Service water pipework.
- Pre and post-thickening sludge storage pipework
- Digester feeding pumps and pipework
- 6No Digester Mixer Pumps and Pipework
- Digester Antifoam Dosing Pipework
- Gas Condensate Holders
- 2No CHP Hot Water Pipework Flow / Return
- 2 (No.) dewatering centrifuges feed pipework and service water
- Liquor treatment plant Pipework
- Odour control Service Water.
