Flue Gas Ducting Insulation, UK

Jade Insulation were awarded the contract for the insulation of the flue gas system to all 3 streams of a newly constructed 18Mwe energy from waste plant diverting 169,000 tonnes of non recyclable waste from landfill each year.

The scope comprised of insulation services to the FGT (recirculation systems), this consisted of various sized circular and rectangular ducting ranging from 300mm diameter up to 1500mm diameter.

The specification for this project was 50mm 80kg mineral wool with plain aluminium cladding.
